منهرو متائي محب جي وندين،
ڪڏھي به نفرت جو نہ اظهار ڪندس،
سور ساري سنسار جا ساٺي،
کاني ڪلهن پنهن تي بار ڪندس.

I will never turn disloyal; I shall remain a friend.
Even if you extinguish the flame of love's bond,
I shall never express any hatred.
O companion, I will bear the sorrows of the entire world,
And carry the burdens upon my own shoulders.

Seeing your beauty I utter 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to God),
For every enchanting gesture I say 'Masha Allah' (As God willed),
They call me an infidel for this worship, yet —
If this is disbelief, then I proclaim 'Insha Allah' (God willing) as an infidel.
