Saarindi to-ke, sapriyun sadiyun thi waya saal
Dil ke sadmo ehro milyo, heena thi waya haal
Abdul Hayee saan ahwaal kar, kay achi qarib ja
Sanvary, Sanvary, ach wari Sanvary

Nain rahun disan pya tha, to-ke san
Khaab tunja ditham, gorha aya tari
Ach wari, ach wari, Sanvary

Dil mein tufaan aa zillzala pya athen
Baahiyun manhji andar mein btha thi baran
Seeno manhjo sariyal khaak thi wayo bari
Ach wari, ach wari, Sanvary

Koonj walhar kaan wichhri, rahi na parri
Tun wayi chhohi dilri wegani kari
Waada panhja, visaari na wanj tun phari
Ach wari, ach wari, Sanvary

To-ke wanno hiyu je moon kaan pari
Pyar chho thi dinaye, eda bhaakar bhari
Chaah moon ke dinaye kayi dilri chari
Ach wari, ach wari, Sanvary

Pyar manhjo tho to-ke pukari parin
Saah bhi dilbar tho to-ke saari parin
Khuli wayto aahiyan maan dil ji dari
Ach wari, ach wari, Sanvary

Ji karin tho safa be-wafai tun
Dagi salan ji "Sagar" judaai tun
Po na achja tun "Soomro" ayo mari
Ach wari, ach wari, Sanvary

Years have passed, my love, waiting for you through endless centuries,
Such sorrow struck my heart; all my strength has faded and gone,
Come and tell me, dear Abdul Hayee, that you’re near once more—
Sanvary, Sanvary, come back to me, Sanvary.

My eyes keep watching the path, calling you close,
I saw you in dreams, and tears filled my eyes,
Come back again, come back again, Sanvary.

There are storms and quakes within my heart,
Flames burn fiercely in my spirit’s core,
My chest has turned to ash in this fire,
Come back again, come back again, Sanvary.

The crane bird lost its way and cannot stay far,
Why did you leave, making this heart a stranger?
Don’t forget your promises, don’t turn away,
Come back again, come back again, Sanvary.

If you meant to leave, to go so far from me,
Why did you hold me close with love so deep?
You gave me such love, left my heart so lost,
Come back again, come back again, Sanvary.

My love still calls for you, beloved,
Even my breath remembers you, my dear,
I’ve opened the window of my heart, waiting—
Come back again, come back again, Sanvary.

If you choose truly to break faith with me,
Leave us in this endless sea of separation,
Then don’t return even when Soomro’s gone—
But come back again, come back again, Sanvary.
