Nainan mein khumaar
Kinhji laay aa
Zuban te izhaar
Kinhji laay aa
Ishq jo paar
Kinhji laay aa
Khalil thiyo laachaar
Kinhji laay aa

There is an intoxication in my eyes,
But for whom?
There are words on my tongue,
But for whom?
There is a test of love,
But for whom?
Khalil is helpless,
But for whom?

 ڪارا ڪارا وار ڪڪرن جي قطار Poetry Status

Kaara kaara waar, kakaran ji qataar,

Akhryan mein intezaar, chaprhan ji pyaar,

Sohraan singaar, jeewan ji pukaar,

Uho sab yaar kinhji laay aa?

Uho sab kuchh manhinji laay aa.

Black, black strands like rows of clouds,

In the eyes, the silent wait for the love of the beloved.

The adornments of the sun, the call of life,

All of this is for someone,

All of this is for me.

اچ هلي آ     Poetry Status 

Ach hali aa,
Nikari tho saah,
Zindagi alaa-ee chaa?
Chho rutho aahyan,
Kar toon parchaau,
Zindagi alaa-ee chaa?
Judai dinno aa,
Dil khe ghaau,
Zindagi alaa-ee chaa?
Saagar Luqmani te,
Kar ko kahkaau,
Zindagi alaa-ee chaa?

Come, let's go,

Life is slipping away,

Why are you staying behind?

For you are a wanderer,

Life is slipping away.

Separation brings wounds to the heart,

Life is slipping away.

On the ocean's edge,

Where is there a smile?

Life is slipping away.

  هن ديس ۾ ڪنهن دلبر سان دل لڳائي ويٺي آهيان

هن ديس ۾ ڪنهن دلبر سان دل لڳائي ويٺي آهيان
پنهنجي نماڻي اکين ۾ سا تصويرلڪائي ويٺي آهيان
بنديا چوڙيون سرکي وارن ۾ گجرو سڀ سينگار ڪري
ساگر لقماني اوهان لاءِ پاڻ سجائي ويٺي آهيان

Hin des mein khen dilbar saan dil lagai wayi aaheyan,
Panhinji namanhi aakhin mein sa tasweer lukai wayi aaheyan.
Bandiyan choodiyon surkhi, waran mein gajro, sabb senghaar kare,
Sagar Luqmani, ahaan laayee paan sajai wayi aaheyan.

In this world, I have given my heart to a beloved,
In my humble eyes, I have hidden their image.
With bangles on my wrists and a garland in my hair, adorned with all beauty,
For you, oh my love, I have adorned myself like Sassi*.
