چرين وانگي مان سومرا گھمان ٿو

  

چرين وانگي مان سومرا گھمان ٿو
عبدالحئي  توکان  ڇا  مان  لڪايا
جڏهن ياد اچي ٿي تنهنجي

"Charin wangi maan somra ghooman tho,

Abdul Hai, tokan chaa maan lukaya,

Jadho yaad aayi thi tanhji."

"Like the wandering of a wandering soul,

Abdul Hai, what do I hide from you?

When memories of you come to mind."

ڪيڏو مالڪ رکيو آ سينگار اکين جو

ڪيڏو مالڪ رکيو آ سينگار اکين جو

هر هر ايندس ڪسندو رهندس

جو تيز تکو آ وار اکين جو

"Kedo maalik rakhyo aa singaar akhin jo,

Har har aindas kasando rahindas,

Jo tez tako aa waar akhin jo."

"How beautiful is the adornment of your eyes,

Every time they glance, they leave me in awe,

For the sharpness of your gaze is like a piercing arrow."

دل جي کولي کڙڪي ايندو

دل جي کولي کڙڪي ايندو

ساگر لقماني جو چاهين ٿو

نيڻن مان سو ڄرڪي ايندو

"Dil ji kholi khadki aindo,

Saagar Luqmani jo chaahiyen tho,

Nainan maan so jharki aindo."

"The heart will open like a window,

For the desire of Saagar Luqmani,

Will emerge from the eyes in a hundred folds."

اکين ۾ آيو رات خواب تہ مون روئي ڏنو

اکين ۾ آيو رات خواب تہ مون روئي ڏنو .
چپ سڏ ڪيا نه مليو جواب تہ مون روئي ڏنو
درد ن دلاسن واعد ن جون ڳا لهيون هيون .
يادن ۾  آئين تون جناب تہ مون روئي ڏنو

Chup sad kyaa na milyo jawab ta moon roee dino,
Dard na dlassan waida na joon galhiyon hiye,
Yaadon mein aayen toon janab ta moon roee dino."

Called out in silence, but when no answer came, I cried,
The pain and broken promises were discussed,
In memories, when you appeared, I cried again."
