SINDHI SHAYARI
Sindhi Ghazal is a special form of poetry that follows a specific rhyme and weight. Generally, it consists of verses (two-line poems) that express a complete thought or sentiment, but are thematically linked together. The lyrics often explore themes such as love failure, grief, mysticism, divine love, and the contradictions of human existence. Sindhi Ghazal retains its traditional roots while also reflecting the local culture and sentiments. It describes the longing of love, the pain of separation, and the joy of connection, often with a philosophical or mystical tone.

هن ديس ۾ ڪنهن دلبر سان دل لڳائي ويٺي آهيان
Panhinji namani akhin mein saa tasweer lukhai wathii aahyaan,
Bandiya chudiyaan sarki waraan mein gajro sabh singaar kari,
Saagar Luqmani ohan laay,
Paan sajai wathii aahyaan.
In this land, I have set my heart on a beloved,
And in my humble eyes, I have hidden that picture.
Wearing bangles, a red scarf, and a garland in my hair, adorned with all the ornaments,
O Sagar Luqmani, for you,
I have adorned myself completely.
جيڪي حاڪم ٿي گذريا نامور ايڪويهه
Saa sabh asaan ji akhin jaa taaray — taaran khe salaam,
Asaan Arabistan jaa Arab Sameera saara,
Allah aen Muhammad SAW jaa asaan pyaara — pyaaran khe salaam,
Wadhiyaa qoum laay je shaheed thyaa qoum laay,
Tan kaan dua hijan shaadabaad saara — saaran khe salaam,
Haq sach aen ghairat khe jin rakhyo aa zinda,
Hijan har hand unhn jaa naara — naaran khe salaam,
Dharti jaa sapoot maaroon manhji mehmaan,
Kund karchh maan aayel Somra — Somran khe salaam.
مل اچي کل اچي
Mohabbat day gul achi,
Rag dil mein pal achi,
Sour samoorah sil achi,
Andar baah jhal achi,
Eid aayi hal achi,
Saagar saan mil achi,
Mil achi.
May love bring forth flowers,
May life bloom in every vein of the heart,
May all wounds heal,
May the inner fire be calmed,
Eid has arrived, come, let's celebrate,
Come join together with Sagar,
Come, let's unite,
Come together.
