   زال کي ٻڌي ٻانهون جيءُ جيءُ ٿا ڪريون

 

Zaalan joon baanhoo budhee, ahe jeeyu jeeyu karion thion.
Asin Begum ji zulman heth satail aahiyoon, asaan ji zindgiyoon ke hin azaab mein waji tabah kio wiyo aahe.
Haanjo ahoo hi asaan jo haal aahe."

هر روز منهنجا وار ڇڪي ٿي ڏنگي منهنجي زال آ

Har roz munhja waar chhaki thi dangi munhji zaal aa
Dandan bhaghal sis karradi bhi kai paan ji farmaish
Hun umar mein bhi rang kari thi, waah yaar kamaal aa"

مهنگائي چيلهه ٽوڙي اڄ به ختمي ۾ ملان کي مان

 

"Mahngaai chellha toori aaj bhi khatmi mein milan ke maan
Kukkadan, sewan aen seeri bajaye dost kharaai daal aa"
