تون وئين صدين جو وڇوڙو ڪري
تون وئين صدين جو وڇوڙو ڪري
ساري توکي پئي دل ٿي ڏري
ايندي ته چوندو مانس
"Tun weyiñ sadiyun jo wicchoro kari
Saari tokhe payi dil thi ddari
Eindi ta chundo maans."
"You left, causing a separation for centuries
Remembering you, my heart keeps aching
When you return, I will say..."
دل جي پردي تي تصوير تنهنجي
دل جي پردي تي تصوير تنهنجي
هردم تازي ياد رهي ٿي منهنجي
ايندي ته چوندو مانس
"Dil ji purday te tasveer tohinji
Hardam taazi yaad rahi thi manhinji
Eindi ta chundo maans."
"On the veil of my heart, is your picture
Your fresh memory remains with me always
When you return, I will say..."

غزل GHAZAL
دل وارو آ سرڪي ايندو
جنهن کي مان چاهيندو آهيان
ڪانگل واگر ڀڙڪي ايندو
دل منهنجي ڳولي ٿي هن کي
ڪڏهن مون ڏي جرڪي ايندو
ڪيڏو شرمائي ٿو ساٿي
شر ميلو آ ڇرڪي ايندو
نازن وارو سهڻو سائين
دل جي کولي کڙڪي ايندو
عبدالحئي تو ڪنهن کي چاهين ٿو
نيڻن مان سو ڄرڪي ايندو
Dil waro aa sarki aindo
Jinhn khe maan chahindo aahyan
Kaangal wagar bharkhi aindo
Dil manhinji gooli thi hun khe
Kadhay mun di jurkhi aindo
Keido sharmaai tho saathi
Shar melo aa charkhi aindo
Naazan waro sehno saayin
Dil ji kholi kharkhi aindo
Abdul Hayee tu kinh khe chahin tho
Nainun maan so jarkhi aindo."
The one with a heart will slowly approach
The one I love
Will arrive, flaring like a crow's flight
My heart searches for him
One day, he will arrive, sparkling before me
How shy my companion is
When the wicked gather, he comes trembling
The beautiful, graceful master
Will knock at my heart's door when he arrives
